Our Needs

"To keep a lamp burning, we have to put oil in it." ~ Mother Teresa

Our House has been serving adults with intellectual and/or developmental disability since we opened in 1975. As our population ages, we must adapt our programs and facilities to accommodate the changing needs of our residents, for our goal is to provide a home for their entire lives.

Both of our houses are two-story. One is over 100 years old and the other is approaching 70. Therefore, our long term goal is to increase our modest endowment fund in preparation for future home remodeling or relocation as changes in resident needs arise. Our immediate needs include replacing our two vans as well as raising funds for resident recreational purposes: attending camp, ball games, and a new TV.
